N2 - The constant development of information and communication technologies (ICTs) is leading to the birth of dynamic network ecosystems, as a result of the requirements of new applications that seek to improve the living conditions of society. In this sense, network administrator management is evolving towards centralized, scalable and resilient processes that go beyond the data center limits and reach WAN providers. This transition supports its foundation in the implementation of cloud-based solutions in conjunction with traditional technologies, giving rise to hybrid scenarios that meet the needs of users and increasingly demanding organizations. This paper proposes the deployment of a hybrid cloud formed by the convergence between a public cloud (Azure) and a private cloud (Openstack) through a secure channel consisting of a virtual private network (VPN). The main objective is to evaluate performance metrics in high traffic scenarios (iPerf) and VoIP services (SIPp). Stress tests are performed to determine the throughput in the hybrid cloud, demonstrating its success and efficiency.
