Abstract
The scientific production in Engineering currently has an exponential challenge, due to the number of indicators of university satisfaction and academic-scientific production that it is obliged to meet in order to meet international standards, world ranking of universities and motivation for future generations of researchers and scientific innovators. This paper aims to make a documentary review of data mining and web 2.0 practices with a future vision based on the needs of a society that builds knowledge on solid evidence and then analyzes the techniques and tools of web 2.0 to empower information and knowledge quickly, timely and efficiently, which will serve to initiate the creation of a solidly structured and reliable academic-scientific document.
