Abstract
The experience presented here is part of the educational offerings of the Intercultural Bilingual Education (IBE) program. "Andean Cosmovivencia desde la palabra de nuestros mayores" (Andean Cosmovision Through the Words of Our Elders) is the result of collaborative work between the professor of the Indigenous Cosmovision course and fourth-level students at the Cayambe Support Center. Its central purpose was to recover, through the testimonies of elders, how the indigenous communities of the area have organized their daily lives in different spheres: agricultural production, the administration of justice, healthcare, organization and decision-making, family and community festive rituals, and various rites related to the life cycle, among others.
