Abstract
The topic of university social responsibility (usr) has gained popularity in the contemporary educational context in the face of global challenges led by new learning spaces and work methods. The climate crisis, the demands for change from social movements and the need to promote a university that responds to the demands of society through social projects lead us to rethink the meaning of RSU and its interaction with the community. In this sense, the purpose of this research is to analyze the contributions of the Salesian Polytechnic University to University Social Responsibility. The methodology used is hermeneutics. The Scopus, Scielo and Redalyc databases were consulted, and a bibliographic search linked to the topic was also carried out between the years 2015 and 2021. It is concluded that it is urgent to include in the management of the RSU the initiatives developed by the ups, such as the ASU, Startup, Coworking, StartLabs, Bootcamp or accelerated entrepreneurship groups, coliving and leadership management proposals, among others, which contribute to the professional and comprehensive training of the student in a pastoral key, and in turn promotes the construction of projects and strategies who seek to provide solutions to the various problems of society through voluntary commitment and action, as well as oratorical accompaniment.
