Abstract
The development of the research work aims to understand the contributions of ICTs to the development of thinking in BGU students, from the contribution of mathematics, through a bibliographic review and field research that helps to support the researched topic. It is known that the development of thinking is a gradual process achieved through experience and the influence of the environment where students develop, and the application of techniques and strategies that allow teamwork for the creative solution of problems; the application of GeoGebra in the classroom improves teaching-learning processes due to the ease and speed of graphical representation of the problems posed. In conclusion, the use of GeoGebra in the classroom, in addition to reducing information processing times, awakens curiosity and experimentation through trial and error, using observation for analysis, reflection, and synthesis of the developed processes, thus enabling students to generate their own mathematical definitions based on their prior knowledge. In a complex environment like the one we live in, teachers are called to develop skills and abilities that improve educational quality by applying active methodologies such as PBL, which fosters collaborative work for solving real problems through responsible decision-making.
