Abstract
There are two main approaches and results of the analysis, which were developed around the issue of relations between the indigenous movement, their organizations and leaders, with the government of President Correa during his first two years: a) the ethnic conflict has primarily served to support the political opposition of indigenous organizations, b) the frequency and intensity of indigenous conflict has been largely a media a construction, which reflects the opposition of the press to the government.
