Abstract
The text argues the answer to the question of postgraduate studies as a space of convergences and argues from the idea that argues from the idea that postgraduate education contributes to upward social mobility, an indicator of national development. With these intentions, the text characterizes the graduate program as an academic unit of convergences and articulations between the expectations of continuous training and constant improvement. This articulation responds to the difficulties of the labor context that conditions science and technology. The response of the postgraduate program is the development of employability capabilities within a problematizing scheme that incorporates research for development and innovation. Its initiative must ensure decent work.
