Abstract

This article analyzes the main postulates on metaphysics in Latin America made by Germán Marquínez Argote, a philosopher who presents a liberal approach to assume the conception of being in our context, shows the importance of valuing this new vision of metaphysics understood as a reference to understand the philosophical evolution in the face of various criticisms that have arisen about the Latin American reality and the dimension of the person in the world. If this knowledge, which generates a new ontology understood as the expression of the cultural context and as a symbolic representation of metaphysical traditions, is not appreciated, knowledge would enter into crisis. An impartial attitude is adopted to reach a conclusion appropriate to the reader's interest in order to show the desire to undertake a metaphysical challenge. A historical synthesis of the study of metaphysics is made to understand the different paradigms of Marquínez Argote's thought and its influence in the educational field. Social, cultural and human unity are fundamental aspects in the constitution of a new ontology understood as an organizational doctrine of discourse in the Latin American circumstance that refers to the valuation of what is ours. a metaphysical challenge.
