Abstract

International trade is a significant factor within the economy of a country, and for this to be possible the maritime route is the transport that mobilizes a greater volume of cargo due to capacity, costs and safety (Apolinario et al., 2017). In this sense each port maritime terminal is the international link worldwide and in Ecuador they play an important role because it is the nexus of sale of products from the country of origin to other countries generating a huge impact on national trade and in the communities where it is developed; this study is basically focused on the analysis of the existing commercial relationship between the concessionaire Yilport Terminal Operations YilportEcu S. A. of the Port Maritime Terminal of Puerto Bolivar (hereinafter TPPB) and the main exporting companies of the city of Machala.
