Abstract

In every era there are social changes resulting from technological transformations. In the current era, Relationship, Information and Communication Technologies (TRIC) (Marta-Lazo & Gabelas, 2016) have generated endless possibilities of interaction, in which the Relational Factor is the protagonist. This makes it easier for cybercitizens to carry out information exchange processes that were unthinkable until a few decades ago, in which space and time minimize their dimensions, with immediacy and ubiquity being two of the great benefits. The exercise of many of today's citizens' rights has transcended the Net. This book attempts to respond, among other objectives, to the role of participatory cyberdemocracy -through the right to express opinions or to decide and demand certain issues that affect everyday life- as a guarantee of a freedom with greater potential. In this way, it is proposed how the political limelight has moved beyond the hemicycles, where the new digital agora is the playing field where everyone can decide what actions to carry out and what activities to propose, taking into account that there are interests that go beyond the citizenry.
