Abstract
In Ciudad y comunicación: Desde lo presencial y lo virtual, the author delves into the field of city and communication studies, proposing a journey that starts from European and North American currents to arrive at research conducted in Latin America. Subsequently, he explores two perspectives that were forged in globalization: the economic and the technological with the purpose of pointing out "a theoretical proposal for the analysis and research of the technologized forms of inhabiting the city and the inequalities that are currently visible there".
