Abstract

This analysis examines the tendencies on the academic production regarding inclusion at Higher Education at Ecuador as from de irruption of the progressive cicle (2007-2017). The results show that the points of research interest focus on the institutional reforms, the economic policies, the free access, the disabilities, and the interculturality. It has been done a systematic revision of 26 academic papers published between 2017 and 2022, and complementary literature of normative and contextual nature. It's concluded that the implemented policies during the progressive cicle establish a significant twist, not exempt of tensions, regarding the extension of rights, as well as signals of significant differences about college inclusion among the progressive and the post progressive cicle, in reference to the sense, character and management of Higher Education policies.
