It reflects the academic commitment of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana to strengthen the training of professionals in understanding contemporary ethics. Its purpose is to promote responsible questioning in the face of instrumental rationality and relativism in the construction of values. The texts in this work reflect the dedication of individuals who analyze political reality with transparency and shared responsibility. Its reading invites a reconsideration of ways of life, both for those motivated by philosophical thought and for those who are not, offering a clear, direct, reflective, and contemporary discourse on the issues that call us to action as human beings committed to social change.
