Abstract
Changes in diet, modifying patterns and lifestyle can produce sustainable weight loss and prevent the development of chronic diseases, however, only a minority of people heed these proposals (Nielsen, 2016). Some studies have verified that internet and mobile phone-based technologies for physical activity, monitoring with mobile apps and other technological strategies, can help to significantly increase and maintain activity levels. In addition, smartphones, which provide daily individualized feedback on dietary behavior, can lead to increases in intake of healthy food groups (Mei-Fang Chen and Neng-Pai Lin, 2018).
