Abstract
One of the main objectives proposed by the authors of this book is to make a critical balance of the ten years of the Organic Law of Food Sovereignty Regime. Analyzing the limits and advantages of this regulatory body, establishing its relationship with nutrition and commercialization and, finally, identifying territorial experiences beyond the law, are part of this balance. The text must be read in the context of the tensions between the dominant agricultural model that standardizes food production and consumption systems and family, peasant, indigenous and community agriculture that, based on their productive diversification, conserve agroecosystems and reactivate agrifood heritage as strategic elements for rural Good Living in the context of climate change. The book concludes that the struggle for food sovereignty should not be exhausted in the sphere of legal and normative discourse. Instead, the proposal revalorizes the historical claims of indigenous and peasant struggles and turns their main demands into principles for the construction of a transformative agrarian program.
