Abstract

This paper reports a selected group of research articles that were presented during the second edition of the Andean Congress on Computing, Informatics and Education (CACIED 2015), held at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) from November 4 to 6, 2015. Out of 59 papers received, a total of 37 papers were accepted, of which the present edition of the Revista Tecnológica collects 28 papers. These articles present the results of research work in: data mining; telematic systems; biomedical applications of computing; networks and telecommunications; computer security; use of technological tools in education; software engineering; distributed processing and cloud computing; knowledge management; and information technologies and education.
