Abstract

Don Bosco never forgets his children, children, youth and adults. This is how he moved the hearts of the young people of the GASOL Group (Group of Free Soft-ware Salesian Associations), of the Systems Engineering Career of the Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS) Sede Guayaquil, who in 2013 turned around the raison d'être of academic associations and managed to cross the barriers of the classroom and the faculty by turning to society. In turn, these young people motivated others who were infected with the optimism and were empowered by projects that the GASOL Group generated as the needs of society arose.
