Abstract

The idea of having an intelligent home that makes people's lives easier by helping them with everyday tasks is a reality. Currently there are many systems developed and others that are in the research phase, to give the home the ability to manage its resources, such as saving electricity, reducing water waste, controlling the temperature of a room, restock your refrigerator, etc.. One of the drawbacks of these systems was precisely to control the consumption of electrical energy, How to do it, if the same system governed by a computer must remain on all the time consuming a lot of electrical energy. To partially solve this problem, most of the current researches opt for the use of low energy consumption and low cost equipment.
