The book we are commenting on gives an account of the comparative work between risalip'ichis, llut'asqas and waxt'as; that is, between a series of religious artifacts of current use in Quechua and Aymara areas of Bolivia. But he is aware of much more than that: he is aware of the senses behind these "offerings and prayers", to which the subtitle of the work alludes.
