Abstract
This work presents an analysis of the practice of the university teacher, the training processes, the value of his profession, the impact he has on society, technological advances such as neural networks, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning and his influence on society in a special way in medicine, which involves a bioethical analysis based on device development and medical instrumentation, digital processing of medical images and signals, data and information management, all as support tools for the specialist, in order to determine a timely, efficient and more certainty presumptive diagnosis. The analysis of a change in the educational scenario affected by the presence of the pandemic (COVID-19) affecting humanity, generating a health, economic and social crisis, which poses a challenge in the role of the teacher, as well as in the innovative teaching-learning processes, rescuing the values and rights of the human being, issues that in Ecuador were severely affected, especially by the corruption that presents itself in our society as another virus difficult to eliminate.
