Abstract

The sensitive concern that the whole humanity has had after the Covid-19 pandemic, has reached the most susceptible aspects of the coexistence of society. In this context, the Salesian Polytechnic University, through the initiative of the Communication, Education and Environment Research Group (GICEA), of the Communication Department, has echoed the different aspects surrounding what it has called "new normality", addressing experiences and references that have to do with access to education, health, work, etc. However, the authors of this publication, Bienestar y buen vivir: un aporte para la felicidad del ser humano, bring together diverse texts with the intention of discovering well-being in the service of others... or understanding happiness as a path of personal decision -intimate I would say- and family, which undoubtedly brings great satisfaction, especially when we give something to others, especially if we do it as a practice from the heart. In addition, this publication is a second part of the book published by the same Research Group on Communication, Education and Environment (GICEA), of the Communication Department, entitled Pandemic from the academy: transdisciplinary experiences of the university of Cuenca in times of COVID-19, which came out in 2021, when the pandemic was raging against humanity.
