In this investigation, the behaviour of a full-scale experimental joint (beam-column joint) was studied, consisting of three reinforced concrete elements, one (1) column and two (2) beams, attached to a structural steel column at the upper level. The test piece in question was subjected to the action of cyclic loads in one direction only, by means of a pseudo-static test for 5000 s, with the purpose of observing which element of the test piece failed and which was the failure mode. The investigation was based on the use of digital images taken of the specimen during the test, and on the loading and unloading cycles, each photo being analysed with the CORRELI-Q4 subroutine.
