Abstract
In this research, the behavior of a full-scale experimental joint (beam-column joint) was studied, formed by three reinforced concrete elements, one (1) column and two (2) beams, connected to a structural steel column at the upper level. The specimen in question was subjected to the action of cyclic loads in one direction only, by means of a pseudo-static test for 5000 s, with the purpose of observing which element of the specimen failed and which was the failure mode. The research was based on the use of digital images taken of the specimen during the test, and in the loading and unloading cycles, each photo being analyzed with the CORRELI-Q4 subroutine.
