Abstract

The sustainability of self-managed cultural projects is a topic of general interest with a social, political and cultural impact as they are a significant part of local development. However, no studies have been carried out to identify the reasons why these projects have not been able to be sustained over time, or to present possible solutions from an analysis of their reality. This work aims to encourage further studies of analysis and research of the cultural sector in the country: What is happening in independent cultural management? How can these projects be articulated with the State and generate lines of work that benefit artists, managers and the public? How can these studies strengthen the Integral Cultural Information System?.
