Abstract

he trend of regulating the network by the States will be on the rise, in a horizon where numerous identities and philosophies of how the Internet has to behave coexist. The current situation is that social networks continue to expand, as we become people connected to the network constantly and with greater coverage thanks to the latest generation of smartphones and smart accessories. The latest reports of the Telefónica Foundation (2021) in Spain on the information society indicate that social networks continue to grow. It is a mass phenomenon where most young people have accounts on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Most of the world's population is connected to some social network (Global Web Index, 2020).
