Abstract
Technological innovation in education is fundamental to social development of communities. This study aimed to evaluate user interface of interactive educational projects developed within the context of community engagement practices. Nineteen Computer Engineering students designed and implemented interactive educational applications as part of a community engagement project. The evaluation was conducted through feedback from primary and secondary school teachers, who analyzed key aspects such as usability, educational content, interactivity, engagement, and user experience; each student group proposed a project that included an interactive game, question management, and teacher-led sessions, resulting in a web application that interfaced with an electronic device. Subsequently, the teachers evaluated the user interface of these projects, testing both the web application and the device's functionality. The results indicate that, on average, 87.77% of the interactive applications were positively received across all evaluated aspects. The student projects are perceived as successful, attractive, useful, and motivating tools, highlighting their capacity to engage users within community projects and foster meaningful learning in formal educational contexts.
