Abstract

Maintenance activities in hydroelectric power plants aim to maximize the useful life of each of its components, at the lowest cost and increasing the reliability of energy supply of a society through indicators such as the availability factor; however, the fulfillment of these activities involve electrical, mechanical, chemical and other risks, and accidents and incidents may occur due to non-compliance with safety procedures and standards. The objective of this article is to define each of the activities of the maintenance team members from the deontological point of view in compliance with safety procedures.
