The objective of maintenance activities in hydroelectric power plants is to maximize the useful life of each of their components, at the lowest cost and increasing the reliability of a company's energy supply through indicators such as the availability factor; however, compliance with these activities entail electrical, mechanical, chemical and other risks, and accidents and incidents may be recorded due to non-compliance with safety procedures and standards. The objective of this article is to define each one of the activities of the members of the maintenance team from the deontological point of view in accordance with safety procedures.
