Abstract

Philosophy and education have been closely related to teacher training for decades, therefore, the composition of various bibliographical and theoretical contributions can support the relationship between these three variables, in addition to emphasizing the need for adequate and comprehensive teacher training to develop new teaching methods in their professional field. The objective of this study is to analyze the contributions of the Philosophy of Education to teacher training. For this purpose, the research is carried out with a qualitative approach, since the theoretical information of the research is derived from concepts produced from the bibliography, opinions and experiences of the interviewees who participated in the study. The research is supportedby the deductive and inductive methods, which allowed to deduce that the connection between educational philosophy and teacher training is very close and important, since it will allow future teachers to develop critical thinking and pedagogical cognitiveskills, so that students can build theoretical foundations and discuss various situations that arise not only in the field of education, but also in everyday life.
