Abstract
The world has advanced with the advent of science and technology from the various fields that make it up with a vision of innovation involving society and thus meet the needs that have become a problem for the scientific field. The path to reach a concept of smart cities, for example, can combine several edges that account for a contribution of various competencies and skills by the scientific community. Thus, we can find contributions in smart grids, mass communication services, use of water resources, analysis of seismic waves, data management in the cloud or image interpretation for medical applications, thus meeting a vast demand for opportunities for the generation of new knowledge that applies science and technology in favor of society.
