Abstract
Energy Harvesting is a form of energy harvesting, which can be collected in different ways and through different events. Over the years we have seen some examples of energy harvesting by people, which basically take advantage of the concept of energy transformation and take portions of waste such as heat, friction, movement, etc. to feed an energy reservoir and use it in the near future. Within the development of smart grids over the years, the structure and communication platforms have been evolving and today we have services and applications that have emerged through the research of sensors and radio frequency devices to get to have what we know as the Internet of Things (IoT) or internet of things. From these developments, homes, public and private companies, civil and military industry, etc. have improved the quality of life of people, creating new technologies such as big data and the need for greater wireless connections and sensors to generate what we know as smart cities.
