Abstract
This research presents the first result of a documentary analysis of the graduate profiles of Salesian institutions of higher education (SHE) with faculties of education and pedagogy corresponding to the application of Don Bosco's Preventive System. The question is: What are the common components of the graduate profiles of the pedagogy and education programs that support the application of St. John Bosco's Preventive System to young adult students at SHEs for the promotion of integral, transformative education and integral human development? The research methodology was carried out by analyzing information collected from the graduate profiles of nine participating SHEs. This information was provided by representatives of each institution, and other information was obtained from institutional websites. Within this analysis, the common components of the graduate profiles are classified, where the application of the Preventive System is identified. Within the analysis, the components were classified into four areas: knowledge or knowing, attitudes or being, procedures or knowing how, and educational resources; and within each, the subcomponents were divided into subcomponents where the information for each graduate profile was literally shown. Keywords: higher education, teacher training, Salesian Preventive System.
