Abstract

The present investigation analyzes the influence in the hierarchy of the risk that causes the presence of a fault in the system of injection Multec Delphi, by the analysis of the pollutant emissions, fuel consumption and the time of injection. The development of the project consists of several phases such as the definition of the scope of the methodology of the analysis of failure modes, analysis of the functionality of the faulted system, identification of failure modes, failure effects, failure consequences, risk hierarchy And finally analysis of results. The failure modes that present a greater risk are evidenced in the hierarchy, these being in the upper parts of the tables. This analysis allows identifying the elements where maintenance will have to be performed with greater efficiency, improving the reliabilityof the systems, environment and the safety of the personnel involved. Carbon monoxide (CO),unburned hydrocarbons (HC) are determined; Injection time and fuel consumption are the variables to be analyzed, for which an effective method is used to achieve the purpose.
