Abstract

This research is carried out for the Cuenca canton, within the 2020 period, through a quantitative study and an analysis of historical data from the database of the Continuous Agricultural Surface and Production Survey (ESPAC), to apply the linear regression method. of least squares, allowing to reduce the error when planning the production in 98%, compared with the traditional methods. The projection of the quantities to be produced allows having programming of its production to reduce costs and economic losses for farmers.
