Abstract

Alli Mikuy: Healthy Foods of the Kayambi People is a valuable educational tool that integrates ancestral knowledge, agroecological practices, and Andean worldview to rethink food from a holistic and sustainable perspective. Through the Kichwa concept of Alli Mikuy, “eating well,” the book proposes an education that connects knowledge with life, the body with the land, and food production with spirituality.
