Abstract

This paper provides relevant information for decision making and implementation of new strategies oriented to the sustainability and economic growth of SME companies belonging to the financial and insurance activities sector. Its objective is to analyze, by means of standardized tools, the financial situation of companies in the aforementioned sector in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. In relation to the methodology, it is an applied research, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and explanatory scope, longitudinal cut, which uses the Superintendence of Companies, Securities and Insurance as a secondary source of information.
