Abstract

Educational, personal, even family situations that occur at the Initial level, by the age in which they are, are attended by the teachers, because this level, like the others, is a educational scenario characterized by its wide student diversity. By this, the educational actions or manifestations that are seen in the school context the teachers give an answer and that most of the time they are very particular. This set of situations is called "teaching styles", reflected during pedagogical actions when serving students. In the research carried out it was possible to determine the importance and impact of teaching styles on learning processes and its relationship with cultural diversity. This was carried out, during the practices pre-professionals, in a private educational institution in the city of Quito, with 16 children from 4 to 5 years old belonging to Initial level II and their teachers. It was determined that two styles predominate: in teacher A a more reflective-innovative style and in teacher B a style more academic. According to the style, each teacher assumes the diversity of different shape.
