Use of ICT in the Teaching-Learning Process of English as a Foreign Language (Phase 1)

Project Details

Description

This project addresses the necessity of integrating Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into English language instruction, a need exacerbated by educational evolution and challenges posed by events like the COVID-19 pandemic. The primary goal is to enhance language skills through the implementation of virtual learning environments. The methodology is descriptive and experimental, focusing on gathering and analyzing previous research to identify which ICT tools have proven effective in teaching English as a foreign language. Students will engage in exercises across various virtual platforms, which will be supervised and adjusted by instructors. This technological adaptation aims to boost motivation, foster interaction, and develop critical thinking in students, aligning with the high standards of digital competence demanded by contemporary society.

Goal:
To implement the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the teaching-learning process of the English language, utilizing virtual environments for the continuous development and improvement of foreign language skills.

Research lines:
Education and technologies
