Urban Agriculture Tarcisio Battochio

General objective Practicing urban agriculture by planting vegetables contributing to the aesthetic diversification of the gardens at the Salesian Polytechnic University in Cuenca and taking advantage of its production to measure, analyze and evaluate the level of pollution, especially the evolution of vehicular traffic. Justification Finally, the name of this project proposed by the Rector of La UPS, is in recognition of the trajectory of Salesian coadjutor Tarcisio Battochio as a practical market gardener, who, after almost ninety years of life, continues to till the land for the planting of vegetables, constituted in a youth educator of learning by doing.
