Tonometry Detection Method for Early Diagnosis of Glaucoma Through Simulation Tools

Project Details

Description

General objective To study the methods of detection by tonometry for the diagnosis of Glaucoma through the use of simulation tools in order to present results of early prevention of said disease. Justification The procedures for the early detection of this disease are basically governed by an annual control, especially after a certain age, 40 years, or if there is a family history that has presented a case of glaucoma, this control is carried out with a specialist. Considering that the measurement of intraocular pressure is NOT the only factor to determine a diagnosis of glaucoma. IOP assessment is performed by means of Tonometry. Likewise, as a country we should be part of prevention programs such as World Glaucoma Week.
