The Laurel of Father Lothar Zagst (Lothar)

This research project focuses on evaluating the 30-year apostolic work of Father Lothar Zagst in the rural parish of El Laurel, Daule, with the fundamental purpose of documenting his transformational impact on the quality of life for its approximately 10,000 inhabitants. The initiative stems from the need to preserve and highlight empathy as a social driver, ensuring that the priest's mission, which successfully transformed the town, serves as an enduring example for future generations. The central question guiding the study is to determine the specific effect his work had on the community. Methodologically, the dialectical hermeneutic method will be employed. This approach allows for a deep interpretation of social processes and thought, facilitating the reconstruction and interpretation of the object of study and its subsequent application in social practice, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of his legacy.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To evaluate the thought and actions of Father Lothar Zagst to document the transformational impact of his historical work on the quality of life for the inhabitants of the rural parish of El Laurel, Daule canton.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Philosophical and theological thought
