This research project focuses on evaluating the antifungal activity of essential oils derived from Molle and Arrayán plants, addressing the urgent need to find natural alternatives against microbial resistance to synthetic fungicides. Historically, vegetable oils have been used for their healing properties, and this study aims to validate their potential against phytopathogenic fungi, such as *Botrytis sp.*. The methodology employed is divided into two main phases: the first focuses on the isolation and characterization of the phytopathogen, and the second involves evaluating the antifungal activity using standardized microbiological laboratory techniques. The underlying context is the growing concern over infectious diseases and the necessity to leverage plant biodiversity to develop safer and more sustainable treatments.
