General objective Contribute so that girls, boys and adolescents, with an emphasis on indigenous children and in rural areas, enjoy the right to protection against physical and psychological violence through the generation of safe community environments promoting equal, affective and respectful relationships. Justification In the national survey of family relations and gender violence against women carried out in 2011 by the INEC, whose unit of analysis was women over 15 years of age, and with national urban-rural and provincial coverage, it is determined that physical violence prevails in 38%, psychological violence in 53.9% and sexual violence in 25.7%.
