Description
General objective
Analyze Body Movement in Neurological Diseases (EN) and propose possible technological solutions that allow emotional and motor recovery in order to improve the quality of life of patients.
Justification
From the patient's point of view, being able to have a non-invasive option or method and simple equipment for diagnosis, which makes it possible to detect motor symptoms derived from ND, such as changes in posture, tremor, difficulty walking or lack of body expression, provides EN patients with the opportunity to examine them more comfortably. Even once the information from the physical examination of the patient is obtained through the developed device, it could be transmitted to specialized processing centers or to a specialist doctor, through a mobile device such as a smartphone or a tablet. For this, a suitable software application (App) will have to be designed for sending it, particularly for cases in which the patient is not in a position to travel or the opinion of an expert is required. These considerations will allow the patient to follow an adequate treatment, after a timely diagnosis, improving her quality of life.
