The RWA+ (Race Walking Analytics) project addresses the lack of accessible technological tools for kinetic and kinematic analysis in race walking in Ecuador. Currently, athletes in preparation stages lack objective recording systems, creating a competitive disadvantage compared to international training centers. The proposed solution consists of developing an embedded system that integrates plantar pressure sensors and an innovative stride length measurement method based on wireless power, designed for outdoor field use. The multidisciplinary team, led by the Embedded Hardware Applied Research Group (GIHEA) at UPS, seeks to optimize training processes by precisely quantifying fundamental variables such as flight time and stride length. This approach allows for personalized training routines and injury prevention. Expected outcomes include the creation of a functional prototype, the publication of a scientific article indexed in Scopus, a patent application, and the training of undergraduate students. The project positively impacts the regional sports community by democratizing access to high-level technology and strengthening applied research in the field of sports biomechanics.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>Develop an embedded system for field recording of flight time and stride length for race walkers.
