Description
This project investigates the effectiveness of QR codes as a technological tool to facilitate quick and direct access to academic material, aiming to improve the teaching process and academic outcomes for Business Administration students in the Informatics Applied I course. The study stems from the successful application of QR codes in digital marketing strategies, adapting their low-cost and accessibility benefits to the educational field. A manual will be developed where each lecture or exercise includes a QR code linking to explanatory text and videos, enabling individual study and self-preparation via mobile devices, thus promoting ubiquitous learning. Methodologically, a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) will be employed, utilizing the dialectical materialist method, theoretical methods like induction and deduction, and the Delphi method to consult experts in education and computer science. The research will compare an experimental group using QR codes to access explanatory videos with a control group accessing the same material by typing a URL. Initial results will determine the viability of extending this technological alternative to the rest of the university's courses and programs.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To assess the impact of applying QR codes as a quick-access academic learning tool on the teaching process and academic outcomes of Business Administration students, specifically in the Informatics Applied I course at the Salesian Polytechnic University.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Evaluative research of education and innovation processes
