Project Details
Description
This project focuses on understanding and managing psychosocial risk factors (FPs) affecting occupational health among staff at the Salesian Polytechnic University of Quito (UPS-Q) between 2018 and 2020. Given the increasing priority of psychosocial risk prevention in Ecuador, the study aims to diagnose working conditions impacting the physical, psychological, and social well-being of 832 employees. The methodology involved stratified random sampling of 593 participants (teaching, administrative, and service staff). The assessment utilized the Fpsico 3.1 instrument, which measures nine key factors such as workload, autonomy, and social relations. Data collected via email were analyzed using SPSS (version 22), employing descriptive statistics, mean contrasts, and multiple linear regression. The ultimate goal is to develop a comprehensive prevention and intervention program, aligned with Ecuadorian regulations and corporate social responsibility, to enhance quality of work life and mitigate risks like stress.

Goal:
To analyze psychosocial risk factors in the teaching, administrative, and service staff at the Salesian Polytechnic University of Quito (2018-2020) to generate a comprehensive prevention and intervention program based on research to promote well-being and quality of life at work.

Research lines:
Work, consumption and psychology
