Physical-Chemical Alterations and Heavy Metal Content in Soils Affected by Forest Fires

General objective Determine the physical chemical alterations and concentration of heavy metals in soils affected by forest fires in the City of Quito. Justification This project addresses two problems that are of relevant importance in the environmental context. In the first instance, the study of forest fires that are increasingly recurrent and that produce alterations in organic matter, soil wetting capacity, among others, and on the other hand, the study of environmental pollutants such as heavy metals that their high toxicity is necessary to determine them since they can be transferred from the soil to other components of the biosphere.
