Description
Justification
Particularly important has been verifying the different chemical composition of the essential oil extracted from Ishpink leaves from various collection points, which presumes the existence of different chemotypes of Ocotea quixos, thus justifying the need to carry out molecular studies focused on the conservation of this species native to Ecuador. Likewise, it is important to fully characterize the chromatographic and spectral information obtained, in order to know the complete composition of the essential oils of the species under study.
