General objective Carry out a multisectoral statistical analysis of the generation of solid waste in the Ambato Canton to improve the efficiency of the current solid waste management system in the Ambato Canton. Justification Due to what has been described, there is a need to cover the lack of information, which could be the starting point (baseline) for the adoption of a permanent policy of obtaining information on the quality and quantity of waste in Ambato, in such a way that the different components of the cleaning system can be adequately planned.
