Description

The AMIED project addresses the barriers faced by students with disabilities in the Ecuadorian educational system, where a lack of teacher training and accessible pedagogical resources limits effective inclusion. Despite the existence of legal frameworks, practical implementation remains a significant challenge for institutions. The proposed solution involves the development of cross-platform mobile applications using App Inventor, Android Studio, and artificial intelligence technologies. These tools will integrate pedagogical guides, legal regulations, and multimedia resources adapted to address visual, auditory, psychosocial, physical, and sensory disabilities. The methodological approach is mixed, combining documentary analysis with technological development and validation through pilot tests with teachers. This project is expected to strengthen teaching competencies and promote inclusive learning environments. By providing accessible and flexible resources, the initiative seeks to reduce learning gaps and ensure that education is an equitable right for all students, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4).<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>Create interactive mobile applications to sensitize and train teachers on inclusive strategies for students with disabilities, using technological tools and current regulations.
