Project Details
Description
This research project addresses the critical need for textile companies in the South of Quito to adapt to e-commerce following the impact of the pandemic and increasing competition. Despite the textile sector's importance as a generator of employment and exports, many companies face technological barriers and consumer distrust due to digital security risks.
The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze current strategies, the profile of associates, and the impact of these tools on sales volume. Through surveys and interviews, the study aims to provide a practical guide for large, medium, and small businesses to implement effective, low-cost digital solutions.
The expected impact focuses on strengthening the popular and solidarity economy, promoting decent work and industrial innovation. By aligning company practices with the National E-commerce Strategy, the project facilitates the digital transformation necessary for local producers to expand their reach, improve customer loyalty, and ensure their sustainability in a globalized market.

Goal:
To analyze the main e-commerce strategies that stimulate the sale of textile products in the South of Quito.
